Terms of Sale

Terms: F.O.B. the farm. 50% cash with order, balance C.O.D. except to those of established credit, in which case terms are 30 days net. All materials are offered subject to prior sale.  Orders are accepted subject to crop loss, availability of transportation facilities, strikes, government regulations, weather, and all conditions beyond our control without liability to us. The prices in this list cancel all quotations in previous lists and are subject to change without notice. 1.5% per month interest will be charged on accounts over 30 days, plus reasonable collection costs, if applicable. This is an effective rate of 18% per annum.

Tax Exemption Certificate: A tax exemption certificate must be completed and returned to Sheerlund Forests prior to the sale.

Warranty: We will exercise reasonable care to insure that all stock sold is true to name and as represented within commercial tolerances. No other warranty is given or implied.

Claims: All plants become the property of the buyer upon delivery to the buyer or the carrier. We are not responsible for loss, damage, or delay in transit. We will not accept or consider any claims unless made in writing within five days of receipt of shipment.

Shipping: We can arrange truckload shipments to all points or will load customer vehicles by appointment only. Delivery is available for smaller orders at a rate of $55/hour within a 30 mile radius.

Summer Digging: We will dig some varieties of trees in the summer, but there will be an additional charge of 10% for watering.
