The Sheerlund Experience

When you come to Sheerlund Forests during the Christmas season, our family will be there to greet your family. Jane, Sue, or George will welcome you and tell you all about how Christmas at Sheerlund Forests works.

You can choose a Douglas Fir or Fraser Fir from our fresh-cut lot, or you can grab one of our saws and venture forth into the fields to choose and cut your own favorite live Douglas Fir, Blue Spruce, or White Pine.

On weekends, our wagons run continuously to carry you back and forth from the fields - the kids will love our big John Deere and Kabota tractors.

Complimentary hot chocolate and cookies are always available in the Cookie Hut, along with coffee and hot apple cider; on weekends, our friend Shawn Kelchner brings his Stewart's Root Beer Wagon to the farm and sells delicious hot dogs, hamburgers, and root beer floats.

Santa visits us every weekend, so make sure the kids have their lists prepared! (Kids can also e-mail their Christmas lists to santa@sheerlund.com, and we will post it on our Santa's Letter Board in the Cookie Hut.)

Our Christmas Ornament Barn carries just about everything you might need for your holiday decorations.

We also sell wreaths - both fresh and artificial - that are lovingly decorated by our own master wreath-decorator. And we offer bunches of fresh greens for do-it-yourself decorators.

On the two weekends before Thanksgiving, you can tag a tree (mark it with a numbered flag) to reserve it for later purchase and pick-up.

And for our green-minded customers, we also offer a variety of live balled-and-burlapped trees that can be replanted in the yard after Christmas.
